Digital scrapbooking with memory mixer
(lifetimez or my memories suite are from the same developers and work almost the same, so this class is suitable for people who have either one of those too…)
In this class you will learn to work with your digital scrapbook program memory mixer and create layouts in the process. But be carefull, digital scrapbooking is even more addictive then paper scrapbooking!
We will be re-creating 10 layouts either with kits of your choice (freebies or purchased kits) or my kits. Our main goal is to get to know this awesome scrapbook program and get those photo’s scrapped… You could use this class to create gifts for the holidays too!
Note: The layouts shown above where resized to create the animated gif and are of less quality then the original ones (72 dpi instead of the usual 300).
Topics in this class:
- Working with memory mixer
- Designing layouts
- Printing your scrapbooks (through Lulu.com)
- Burn your scrapbook on CD or DVD
- Tips & Techniques (crop images, drop shadow, blending etc. etc.)
Supplies:
You need to buy Memory Mixer vs2, available at memory mixer.com and install it on your computer (my memories suite or lifetimez can be used instead too…)
You need digital photo’s stored on your computer.
You will get a digital scrapbook kit designed by me to create your layouts with, but you can use your own kits or download free kits from the internet to work with.
About Memory Mixer:
Memory Mixer is a scrapbook program, creating layouts is easy if you use the instamix or quickmix version but a bit more challenging if you want to create layouts from scratch. That is what we will be doing in the classroom, creating layouts from scratch.
Memory Mixer is not a graphics editor such as photoshop or paint shop pro, it’s just an easy to use scrapbook program suitable for most scrappers…
